(and great workshops...)Friday 16th December will bring a range of workshops for Cornwall Media Focus and a great party.Workshop, Panel Event & Xmas Networking Party Video Streaming and Alternative Methods of Exhibition & Distribution: The Workshop: Friday, 16th December 3 to 6 pm Venue: CSV MediaBridge, New Bridge Street, Truro This 3 hour workshop will take participants through the entire process of preparing a video clip for streaming, compressing it and placing it on a server, then streaming it back to viewers. If you have any future plans to put video clips onto a website this is the perfect workshop for you. Participants will be expected to be computer literate with some previous experience of non-linear editing as this element of the course will not be covered! Regrettably there is no lift to CSV’s training suite, which is located on the 1st floor of the building, accessible by 2 short flights of stairs. Mike Cunliffe, University College Falmouth - will introduce their current services and exciting new plans. and others... In addition, Pippa Best of Cornwall Film will give an update on Cornwall Film's work so far, introduce Cornwall Film's newly launched schemes and plans for future services. XMAS PARTY Friday, 16th December 8 pm onwards Venue: Bar 200, 9 River St, Truro – (beween the National Trust shop and Oddbins) Come and join us for a bite to eat and a glass of something festive - it's a great opportunity to meet others working in film, TV and new media in Cornwall.
