Mark Travis Returns!

A one day workshop on DIRECTING AND WRITING WITH ACTORS on Monday 29 January 2007.

• Are you a director who wants to hone your skills in getting fantastic performances from your cast?

• Are you an actor with a passion for trying new things and evolving your screen craft?

• Are you a writer who wants to see how your scenes will translate to performance and find out how you can work with actors to write great films?

• Would you like to meet other actors, writers and directors?

Back by popular demand! After the success of Media Centre for Cornwall’s Eat Shoot and Leave 2, Cornwall Film is bringing Mark Travis back from LA to hold a one day workshop on DIRECTING AND WRITING WITH ACTORS.

This course is aimed at writers, directors and actors – and is a fantastic opportunity to learn from one of the world’s best acting and directing gurus. In one whistle-stop day, Mark Travis will share his invaluable tools for writers, directors and actors to work together and develop regular writing, directing, and acting practices to inspire and inform each other’s work.

The workshop will take place in Penzance from 9.30 – 5.30 in the Seaside Room adjacent to the Chapel Street Methodist Hall on Monday 29 January 2007. Cornwall Film is subsidising the cost of attendance for Cornish practitioners, and consequently the cost of the workshop is only £15.
