2007 Cornwall Film Festival opens for entries

Apply by 10 July to take part in this fantastic event.

Cornwall Film Festival will be returning in 2007 a week early (9-11 November 2007) with a revised application process.

Applications are now open. For a film to qualify for Cornwall Film Festival, one of the creative team (writer, director, producer) must be resident in Conrwall.

First deadline is 6 pm on Tuesday 10th July 2007 submissions up to this date will be free.

Final deadline is 6 pm on Tuesday 24th July 2007 submissions up to this date will be subject to a £25 administration fee.

No submissions will be accepted after this date.

At this first stage applications only require a signed application form (which will be avaliable to download at www.cornwallfilmfestival.com) and a standard definiation DVD viewing copy (which can be viewed in a domestic DVD player)

To accomodate the high volume of applications we receive, films will be selected to screen in three categories:
1) Competition (eligable to win the Audiance Award for Film of the Festival and Best Student Film)
2) Screening (will be screened as part of our screening programme at one of the Festival's venues)
3) Videotheque (will be avaliable to view throughout the Festival at our videotheque)

You will be notified of your success via email. Those films selected for competition or screening will be required to submit a mini dv master of their film and a jpeg image before 6 PM on FRIDAY 10 AUGUST.
