Digital Markets, the innovative funding scheme from Cornwall Film, has invested over £65,000 in digital marketing tools, generating a total investment of more than £160,000. All digital media marketing is being delivered by local web designers, film-makers and digital practitioners, creating work opportunities and showcasing the wide variety of digital skills in Cornwall.

The scheme will be celebrating its success by hosting “Digital Marketing – How to Make It Work for You”, on 7th June 2007 at The Knowledge Spa, Truro. This all day event offers an exclusive opportunity for businesses to learn how to make the most of the global market available via digital marketing.

Speaker Peter Hawtin, Managing Director of BrandNewWaySME will provide an overview of digital marketing – what is it and how can you use it to make you money? Local digital media businesses will offer 4 specialist seminars on branding, e-commerce and archiving, user interaction and search engine optimisation – offering a chance for businesses in all sectors to find out what these terms mean and how they can help you to grow. Tickets to attend are just £10.

Digital Markets is delivered by Cornwall Film with the support of DPN. Funding is provided by the European Regional Development Agency, the Rural Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Partnership and the South West Regional Development Agency.
