Creative Skills offer professional development advice and guidance for practitioners working in the creative industries in Cornwall. Services include Development Needs Analyses, sector specific seminars, and Skills and Training grants. They offer bursaries for media practitioners in Cornwall to attend training courses that will increase their specialist skills. Creative Skills have provided workshops ranging from Producing a Low Budget Feature (with Sally Hibbin) to Pitching and Networking (with Michael Wiese). Creative Skills also work closely with the Cornwall Film Festival to deliver practical hands-on workshops in everything from Camera to Digital Streaming.
