Films made in Cornwall

Cornwall's incredibly diverse landscape has always been a magnet for film-makers. Rolling hills, misty valleys, spectacular beaches framed by crashing cliffs, perfectly preserved castles and stately homes, vast post-industrial landscapes, farms and villages, unexpected urban vistas, modern icons like the Eden Project, working harbours, moorland, and much more.

Recent film and TV productions filmed in Cornwall include Apocalypto, Echo Beach, Ladies in Lavender, Keeping Mum, Doc Martin, Wild West and Irish Jam.

Local productions include some of our Target Talent projects Midnight Drives and Dressing Granite. You can view trailers for these and other Cornish productions here.

Historically Cornwall has played host to a wide range of classic productions including Straw Dogs, Rebecca, Love Story, Saving Grace, Wycliffe, Poldark, Twelfth Night and Die Another Day. For more information on films that have been made in Cornwall over the years, visit www.stevepearce.co.uk
