CELTIC FILM FESTIVAL 2006 CELTIC MEDIA FESTIVAL BURSARIES 2007 Cornwall Film is offering a limited number of bursaries worth up to £600 each to support Cornish media practitioners to attend the Celtic Media Festival. This year’s festival will take place on the Isle of Skye from Wednesday 28 to Friday 30 March and will showcase work from Cornwall, Scotland, Wales, Ireland and Brittany. It also offers masterclasses and seminars with national and international media industry speakers. Applicants must be based in Cornwall, actively working in the local media sector, and available to attend all three days of the festival. You will need to demonstrate that attending the festival will help you to build your business. The final deadline for applications is 16 February 2006. Cornwall Film provided 20 BURSARIES to attend THE CELTIC FILM AND TELEVISION FESTIVAL in Falmouth from 29 - 31 March 2006. This was a fantastic opportunity to promote work in Cornwall and to meet others working in the Celtic countries. Cornwall Media Focus held a Media Careers Event at the festival, aimed at students and graduates. CMF also offered a unique opportunity for local companies to hone a pitch for a factual programming idea; and then pitch this to commissioners Jane McCloskey, John Lilley and Jane Blanchard at the Celtic Film and Television Festival |
